We first hired Rahul and the Sobonix team in early 2022 and have been relying on their services ever since for the development of our RoR and Spree-based eCommerce platform. I hired Rahul and the Sobonix team to implement a large rewrite of an existing site. The site was built with Rails 5 and had an API-like architecture with React on the front end, but I needed to upgrade it to Rails 7 with Rails views instead of React. Rahul and his team did an excellent job transitioning all existing logic from React to Rails, effectively splitting responsibilities between the server and JavaScript (using Stimulus). Along the way, they also resolved server issues in the controllers, improved performance, and enhanced code quality. Beyond the migration, the Sobonix team built system and unit tests to ensure everything worked seamlessly. Throughout the entire process, Rahul and his team maintained open communication, were highly responsive to requests, and conducted weekly video calls to keep everything on track.
